Bihar Board Failed Student Passed by grace marks to avoid compartment exam, 2.14 lakh failed in Matric, Inter students pass

Education Department of Government of Bihar has decided to Pass the students who have failed in one or two subject in Matric and Inter Exam 2020 by awarding Grace Marks to avoid Compartmental Exam 2020. According to the decision taken by Education Department and Bihar Board, Those students who have failed in one or two subjects in Intermediate class 12 and 10 Matric board examination 2020 has passed by alloting grace marks.

Thos step has been taken to avoid Compartmental Exam 2020 due to Corona Virus. According to Bihar Board, if they conduct the Compartmental Exam 2020 for Matric and Inter Exam 2020 then the result of compartmental exam will be announced in November-December which will be not be beneficial for students as they might miss chance to admission in Higher Education.

This year about 132486 candidate has been failed in the intermediate examination 2020. Out of this 46005 has failed in one subject and 86481 in two subjects whereas 208147 candidates have failed in Matric Exam 2020. Out of this 108459 have failed in one subject and 99688 in two subjects. After awarding grace marks, 72610 candidates about 54.81% have been declared passed in intermediate examinations, while 141677 more candidates 68.07% have passed in matriculation.

Students who have failed in one or two subjects can check their result by visiting the official website of Bihar Board or at http://www.bsebonline.in/.

Awarding grace marks to the students failed in maximum two papers, is a one- exemption due to Covid- 19, for the future of kids. However, the compartment exams will not be held.
