Prime minister Narendra Modi has launched the e Gram Swaraj Portal on 24 April 2020 on the occasion of National Panchyati Raj Day. PM Modi Launched this Portal while interacting with Sarpanchans across the nation via video conferencing. During the Video Conferencing, PM Modi launched a portal named E-Gram Swaraj Portal i.e www.egramswaraj.gov.in. He also launched the Mobile App for E- Gram Swaraj Portal.
E Gram Swaraj portal
eGramSwaraj is one of the applications developed as part of Panchayat Enterprise Suite [PES] under e-panchayat Mission Mode Project [MMP] of Ministry of Panchayati Raj [MoPR].
eGramSwaraj aims to bring in better transparency and strengthening the e-Governance in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) across the country through decentralized planning, progress reporting, and work-based accounting.
eGramSwaraj will assist in enhancing the credibility of Panchayats which would induce greater devolution of funds to PRIs. Furthermore, eGramSwaraj provides a platform for effective monitoring by higher authorities.

E- Gram Swaraj Portal and App is single space simplified work-based Portal and Application for Accounting of Panchayati Raj. This portal & App will help in strengthening e-Governance in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) across the country. Features of E- Gram Swaraj Portal are:-
